The Foundation of the Siirt-Pervari Road Has Been Laid.

Emphasizing that the total project cost of 8 ongoing highway projects across Siirt Province has reached 8 billion Turkish Liras, Karaismailoğlu pointed out that the Siirt-Pervari highway, which is currently under construction, is one of these significant investments. "The length of our project, which we have started to construct, is 64 kilometers," said Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu, and he continued his speech as follows:

“The project includes 2 viaducts with a total length of 666 meters and 10 bridges with a total length of 500 meters. With the completion of the Siirt-Pervari road, we will elevate the physical standards of the road, providing safer and more comfortable transportation. The distance of the road will be approximately 8 kilometers shorter compared to the existing route. The new route will also bring economic and socio-cultural revitalization to the areas along the way, facilitating access to the Siirt Organized Industrial Zone. It will also ease the transportation of all agricultural products grown in the region, especially Siirt pistachios, both domestically and internationally. Additionally, our road project will provide logistical support for our counter-terrorism activities. Once our project is opened in 2025, we will save a total of 82 million Turkish Liras annually, including 62 million Liras in time savings and 20 million Liras in fuel costs. Our road project will also lead to a reduction of 4,136 tons in exhaust emissions.”
