Contracts Have Been Signed for the Pond That Will Provide Irrigation Water to 1,720 Decares of Agricultural Land in Mersin.

The contract for the "Kargıcak Pond in Erdemli, Mersin" was signed by our Deputy Regional Director and representatives of the relevant company.

• Under the contract, the pond, which will be constructed in the Erdemli district of Mersin at a height of 37 meters, will provide irrigation water to 1,720 decares of agricultural land.
• The construction of the pond will provide attractive water supply to local farmers, who primarily produce lemons, greenhouse crops, and open-field vegetables, ensuring sufficient irrigation, especially during the summer months, leading to increased yields.
